An entrepreneurial vision
Jean-Michel T. Lorenzi, Founder & Chair
Jean-Michel has a 30+ years track record in organizational transformation, business intelligence, and information technology, helping US companies (Oracle, Gupta, ServiceSource) expanding their client base in Europe, as well as European companies spearheading aggressive sales growth in the USA and Canada. Jean-Michel has held key senior executive roles (direct sales, channel sales, marketing) prior to leading the French subsidiaries of Kalido Ltd, a Royal Dutch Shell Group’s spin-off specialized on Data Warehousing and Master Data Management in Retail, Oil & Gas and CPG sectors, and Formula Insurance Solutions Software Ltd., a premium Tel Aviv-based life insurance software vendor later on acquired by Sapiens.
In 2000, Jean-Michel cofounded 2Be-fficient, a company he built into the premier European Application Service Provider (ASP) of executive dashboards assessing the perceived quality of critical B2B and B2C online services (banking, trading, and e-commerce). In 2012, Jean-Michel cofounded FrontSwimmer, a first-of-its-kind Software as a Service (SaaS) business geared at transforming high potential SMEs and intermediate-sized enterprises through collaborative innovation, providing them with unparalleled cross-cutting insight into their hidden potential for creating shared value. In 2014, Jean-Michel launched “Refer an SME!”, a collective solidarity initiative with the objective of assisting the growth of small- and medium-size European enterprises as they were emerging from economic downturns that impacted the region.
On top of his entrepreneurial endeavors, Jean-Michel has been performing strategic consulting and executive search for more than 10 years, for the mutual benefits of medium-sized and large European companies.
Jean-Michel has an Engineer’s degree (Dipl. Ing.) in Civil Engineering, Architecture and CAD from Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics (ESTP), Paris, France.
